The Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO), Mobile Loaves & Fishes, and the Austin Homeless Advisory Council (AHAC) are all making great strides in addressing homelessness in the area.
ECHOECHO is a non-profit organization (501 (c) (3)) that plans and implements strategies to end homelessness in Austin and Travis County. Their Homeless Outreach Street Team (HOST) is an innovative initiative that operates in the Downtown and West Campus areas, and sometimes helps other parts of the city.

Austin Homeless Advisory CouncilThe Austin Homeless Advisory Council (AHAC) is a group of around 15 people who have experienced homelessness in Austin. AHAC, formerly known as the Austin Homeless Advisory Committee, works to provide support and resources for those who are homeless.These organizations are making great strides in addressing homelessness in Travis County, Texas. They are providing resources and support for those who are homeless, as well as creating strategies for reducing homelessness in the area.
